The Lancaster County Planning Commission (LCPC) and Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership (LHOP) are pleased to announce the publishing of a new resource entitled Strategies for Increasing Housing Affordability.
The document provides incentives and recommendations to both increase housing affordability and the supply of affordable housing. Readers will find specific ordinance language that will encourage the production of affordable housing as well as innovative, but tested, zoning language that streamlines the conditional use process by integrating pertinent subdivision / land development and zoning requirements into a more seamless process. On May 24, 2012 The FAIR HOUSING CENTER at LHOP had an overwhelming attendance and response to their first LANDLORD FORUM, “RISK MANAGEMENT FOR LANDLORDS”! Over 120 attendees were able to network with fellow landlords and came away with information on how to protect their investments with an overview of federal and Pennsylvania landlord-tenant laws.
