Success stories. LHOP helps create the conditions for new affordable housing by serving as the resource center for technical and financial assistance to builders and developers. LHOP's Development Support Initiatives help enable the new construction and renovation of needed rental and for-sale housing throughout Lancaster County. Working with builders, developers (for-profit and not-for-profit) and municipalities, LHOP assistance has made possible the construction of more than 500 affordable housing units.
